Reporting Wrongful Practices

1. ”Wrongful practices hurt customer satisfaction and the well being of Samsung employees, if you have any concerns about possible wrongful practices, we encourage you to report these to the Management Advisory group.”
2. We strongly encourage you to report wrongful practices to us and want to listen to any concerns you might have about integrity. We will protect your anonymity and will confidentially process your report to the fullest extent possible. The Management Advisory group guarantees that you will not be subject to retaliation from your supervisors for reporting a suspected violation in good faith.
   Your cooperation is very much appreciated by the top management and forms the foundation of a transparent, honest and clean management culture.

Reporting unethical or illegal behavior

1. 1. Acceptance of money, valuables or entertainment from contractors
2. 2. Monetary transaction with contractors, and among employees
3. 3. Negative effect (harm or damage), preferential treatment, and share investment to contractors
4. 4. Embezzlement of public money, larceny and pursuit of private benefit
5. 5. Topics in relation to work ethic
6. 6. Leakage of company’s information and personnel
7. 7. Sexual harassment
8. 8. Abusive language/Physical violence
9. 9. Unreasonable matters at work
10. 10. Concerns hard to verbalize
11. 11. Illegal transaction of SW license
12. 12. Other faulty matters, recommendations and suggestions
13. ※ Information handling principle: The confidentiality of informer is absolutely protected, and the informer does not receive any disadvantage by reporting information.

You may wish to report something

1. 1. You can discuss the matter with your supervisor or manager.
2. 2. You can talk with the Human Resources Department.
3. 3. You can report the matter directly to the Management Advisory group in Headquarters.
4. ※ NOTE THAT THIS REPORT, ONCE SUBMITTED, WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE HQ MANAGEMENT ADVISORY GROUP IN KOREA.
